She's hardly a conservative dresser, so the fact Nicki Minaj will endure the occasional wardrobe malfunction is surely no surprise.

And, almost on cue, that's exactly what happened when she took to the stage at London's Wireless Festival on Sunday evening.

In addition to keeping fans waiting for more than two hours, the eyebrow-raising singer also flashed her nipple after busting out of her skimpy stage outfit.

Singing and dancing before an audience of thousands, the American star gave music lovers a serious eyeful as she delivered an energetic set.

Seemingly unaware of the gaffe, she performed for several minutes as her partially-exposed nipple enjoyed a very public airing.

And, even when she did notice, she blithely shrugged it off.

The chesty display was, however, just one of several raunchy elements to the stage outfit, which saw her put on a seriously bootylicious aesthetic.

As her satin bra struggled to protect her modesty, her fishnet bodystocking followed suit.

Flaunting her curves - both front and back - there was little left to the imagination.

But any sartorial slip-up was surely the last thing on her mind after keeping festival attendees waiting for 120 minutes.

Fans were left outraged when Nicki blamed the poor time-keeping on so-called 'travel issues'.

The 32-year-old rapper was scheduled to take to the stage between 7pm and 8pm, ahead of headliner David Guetta, but didn't show until well after 9pm.

Festival organisers were left red-faced after being forced to admit that they had lost touch with the multi-award winning artist - who was flying in from Denmark following a gig on Saturday night - when she failed to appear on stage.

A message flashed up on screen, reading, 'Special announcement: we are told that she was due to be speeding down the M1 from Luton Airport as we speak but we have lost contact with her, we are hoping that she will be here soon.'

Ticket holders at the weekend festival booed when the star failed to start her highly-anticipated set, with many taking to Twitter to demand a refund.

'@WirelessFest can I have a refund. Came to see a full Nicki set. Had to leave #shambles #weekendruined #NickiMinaj #noshow', one user wrote.

Abie Smith, 23, said: 'I was here to see to see Nicki. But now I need to go home as I'm working tomorrow. They maybe should have sorted out the timings a bit better. I just love Nicki, so I'm gutted.'

Wireless Festival had earlier tweeted: 'Nicki Minaj has had last minute travel issues so is delayed. We'll update as soon as we have more info.'

The Anaconda hit-maker more than made up for her tardiness when she finally appeared, however.

She showed off her famous derriere in a black thong and upped the sex appeal in a push-up bra as she stomped across the stage.

Nicki, who performed a selection of her biggest hits including Starships, wore her long locks down in curls and opted for a pale pink beauty look.

Her fans appear to have forgiven her after her stellar set, with one writing,'Thank God Nicki made it here safe & at least we got to see her #Wireless2015 @NICKIMINAJ'.
